Help........

Can someone help me understand the ARROGANCE and IDIOCY of this BOE?

Given the economic situation why are we not cutting at all levels? ADMINISTRATION AND SCHOOLS!

Dr. Guptil (Nagle) whatever you want to be called. Why aren't you taking a pay cut?

Why are our children going to reap the benefits of some poor management?

Before you point the FINGER AT ANYONE ELSE remember you have been hear a long time!

WE ALSO NEED TO REMOVE THE LAST THREE BOE MEMBERS WHO GAVE US DR. NOTFURLONG!

PEOPLE STAY FOCUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be calling their bluff and voting "no". We need to get rid of all the one's who voted "yes" on the 8 period day. No one listened to the parent's nor the student's cries to at least, table the idea. They are still expecting each student to graduate with the same amount of credits with 4 less periods...that does not work for me; or should I say for our children.

I don't feel cutting the art & music classes are an option, many students go on and have those subjects intergrated in their college major. They need to cut all afternoon activities first.

I find it deplorable that Nagle has taken a 10,000 pay raise and is demanding cuts from every other area of the district !! She and the other Asst. Superintendents need to closely examine their conscience and offer back the raise, and re-install some of the TA's and support staff that have been cut. The "real-workers" in this District are being let go, while the ones in the ivory tower sit and relish in their nicely decorated offices and do basically NOTHING all day long !! Enough is enough !! VOTE out this BOE and continue to vote them out until we get people who listen to the TAXPAYERS !!

To all who want to vote "no" on the budget. You actually will be doing more harm than the Administrative cuts have. That will definately take more away from our children. I am an employee and am very upset at the cuts and what it is going to do to our students BUT...we are NOT the only school district doing this. Besides getting rid of Angelo and the other two bad eggs ALSO get rid of our legislatures!!! Our state has put us in this position...not just our Administration. The EGCSD website had letters that all of us could have downloaded and sent to our legislatures....I did it....did anyone else??? I do agree too that the Administrative staff could have forgoed their increases. I know if I was asked to forgo my yearly increase for a year or two, I definately would have agreed so we could save the staff that is necessary to our students and the programs. NY is in a mess..a big mess..and we all elected them. If our state aid was not being cut so badly, the Administration would not have had to make the cuts they did. But voting "no" on the budget will only make things worse.

I agree. Our TA's are the glue that holds our schools together!!! What a disgrace to make cuts there.

Absolutely so upset that this budget passed. The first offering from the BOE and Nagle is the ones with all the "thrills and frills" essentially making their life a dream for the next year. They can do better. Unless the people and voters of the EGCSD wake up and realize this, we are in for bigger, more arrogant and flagrant budgets in the future. You never vote "yes" on the first proposal.....never. Make the BOE do their work , lets stop making it so easy for them!

What about the TA's who have had their worktime cut to 3 1/2 hours. At these hours they loose their Insurance and they work to many hours to get any relief from Un- employment. Last count there were 22 TA's in the above situation. Who is going to help them with their financial needs.
