Apparently Becky has either resigned or was asked to leave. It is too early to know the truth and the reliability of the BOE to give us the truth is certainly questionable. We can only say Dr. NOT FUR LONG is on to torment another school district!
This evenings Executive Session of the BOE may or may not give us more info. MAYBE?

The East Greenbush Central School District Board of Education will meet on Monday, December 17, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. in the Board Room at the Administration Center, Genet School.
There will be a brief voluntary meeting for all staff at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18 in the Genet Auditorium.

What is really going on? The BOE needs to be up front with the taxpayers? This afternoon Dr. Furlong's name was off the web site, now it's back on.
How long do they anticipate she will be gone for? I hear she's basically been fired. Are the taxpayers still giving her a salary???????????????
The BOE needs to communicate better! We have a right to know.
The BOE knew all about her before they hired her. They got us into this mess and should be held accountable.

She is on paid leave. Why, nobody who knows is saying. I think the taxpayers deserve and explanation why she sits in her mansion and collects $500 or more every day this goes on.
My guess, to her "paid leave", would be to give her time to leave your district w/o a bright light shining on her back. A "Professional Courtesy" she doesn't deserve.
